My love for travel began at a young age—my father was an executive at an airline company, so the world felt just a little closer to home. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for discovering new places, connecting with people from all walks of life, and immersing myself in the rich history, culture, and traditions of each destination.
While I once loved French cuisine, spending a month in Italy completely transformed my palate. I developed a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine, especially their focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, often from nearby farms. Unlike French chefs who may go to great lengths to find rare, exotic components from afar, Italians embrace simplicity and locality, which I find both practical and deeply rooted in sustainability and tradition.
