Hello and welcome to my travel blog!

My love for travel began at a young age—my father was an executive at an airline company, so the world felt just a little closer to home. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for discovering new places, connecting with people from all walks of life, and immersing myself in the rich history, culture, and traditions of each destination.

One of my favorite ways to dive deeper into a country’s soul is through its food. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to sign up for a local culinary class. I believe that learning how a culture prepares its food—where they source their ingredients, what they prioritize in flavor and tradition—offers a unique window into their way of life.

While I once loved French cuisine, spending a month in Italy completely transformed my palate. I developed a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine, especially their focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, often from nearby farms. Unlike French chefs who may go to great lengths to find rare, exotic components from afar, Italians embrace simplicity and locality, which I find both practical and deeply rooted in sustainability and tradition.
